Hi I’m Saad Ahmed Siddiqui, currently in my third year of Computer Engineering at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi.
Over the past year or so, I’ve been exploring all kinds of stuff related to Machine Learning - learning , building , and just trying to understand how everything works under the hood. Apart from ML, I’m also into a bunch of other areas - basically anything in software that's cool and fun to mess around with. I like going down rabbit holes.
Right now, the main research I’m working on is in the area of video moment localization - basically, searching for a specific part of a video using natural language. What makes it super interesting (and way more challenging than just working with images) is the temporal aspect - you’re not just looking at one frame, but how things evolve over time. That added dimension makes it a lot more complex, but also more exciting.
